Welcome to the Center for Career Development
The Center for Career Development (CCD) is a place where Kalamazoo College students, like you, can begin to explore your educational and professional interests through the unique set of programs and services offered. It is our mission to be active partners with our students in the exploration process, so that you can develop a confident understanding of yourself in relation to work and service.
How Can We Help?
The short answer? Pretty much anything and everything related to career development and exploration! The long answer? There are many programs and services that the CCD has to offer. Our programs relate to field experience opportunities, such as the Discovery Externship Program. Our services include resume creation and revision, and cover letter composition to name only a few. We are also here to help facilitate your career exploration process.
How You Can Be Involved
Each week the CCD conducts workshops around campus. The workshops range from resume and cover letter creation to professional etiquette techniques. Recruiters also come to campus on a regular basis. Scheduling an Appointment
To schedule an appointment with a staff member in the CCD, please call 337.7183 to speak with our receptionist or stop by our office in Dewing Hall on the 1st Floor. Our receptionist will help you determine who would be the best person to see.
Please arrive 5 minutes early for your meeting to complete a short questionnaire that will help us better serve you. We recognize that your time is precious, so we want this process to be as efficient as possible.
