Professional Development Institute is an annual event that offers an intensive professional development opportunity that engages students, alumni, and friends of the College during Homecoming weekend. The PDI aims to help students consider and prepare for “Life after K.” Through reflection and discussion, professional networking, mentoring, advising, and more, students and career professionals hone skills and deepen connections necessary for successful post-graduate pursuits.
Passions to Professions (PtoP) lunches offer students the chance to have a casual meal with a visiting professional while learning more about a career path. Faculty are welcomed to suggest PtoP speakers by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. PtoP lunches occur throughout the year, are open to the public, and meal tickets are provided for those without meal plans.
