Registration for the Career Summit is now closed.

Friday, April 7:

Dress for Friday is business professional.

Registration - 3-6 p.m., Hicks Atrium upper level
Check in and pick up your Summit registration materials.

Networking Reception - 4:30-5:45 p.m., Hicks Atrium lower level
Introduce yourself to Summit speakers and ask questions about their career paths.

Dinner and Opening Plenary - 6-8:30 p.m., Hicks Banquet Hall
Enjoy an elegant dinner with Summit speakers, College faculty and staff, and other students, while being inspired by the career stories of exceptionally successful professionals. Program includes:

  • Welcome: Jorge G. Gonzalez, President, Kalamazoo College
  • Opening Keynote: Brad O'Neill '93, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Success—SurveyMonkey Inc.; Creator—K to the Bay; Serial entrepreneur and Investor, "From Career to Calling: Finding Meaning in Work"
  • Opening Panel: "What Drives Me" including Lindsey Haswell, Director of Litigation—Uber Technologies, Om Malik, Partner—True Ventures; Founder—Gigaom, Hilmon Sorey, Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer, Career Sofia, Val Cole '83, Retired senior executive—Apple Inc.; consultant and philanthropist, and Michael McFall '93, Co-president and Chief Executive Officer—Biggby Coffee.

Saturday, April 8:

Dress for Saturday is business casual.

Check in and pick up your Summit registration materials.

Continental Breakfast - 8-9 a.m., Hicks Atrium lower level
Grab some coffee and breakfast treats to start your day. Check back later in the morning for snacks to help you stay energized.

Morning Plenary Session - 9-10 a.m., Hicks Banquet Hall
“What You Need to Know to Succeed in Today’s Job Market." Experienced executives share their insights into successful 21st-century career preparation.

Closing Plenary Session - 1:15-2:30 p.m., Hicks Banquet Hall
“From Idea to Action." Wrap up your Summit experience with advice on next steps you can take toward your dream career.
