Fall Creek Falls, Tennessee. June 1998.
#1 of 6
Fall Creek Falls is the tallest water fall in North American East of the Rocky Mountains (taller than Niagra). For scale, the boulders surrounding the pool at the base of the falls are roughly half the size of a semi-trailer. It is possible to walk to the base of the falls, but be prepared to be saturated with water! There are several other spectacular views on this popular hiking trail.
