Study Abroad Through "K!"

The Center for International Programs (CIP) at Kalamazoo College encourages students at other institutions to participate in the academic programs in Nairobi, Kenya and Dakar, Sénégal. The 'K' programs in Kenya and Sénégal have been in operation since 1965 and 1971, respectively.

Undergraduate Studies in Nairobi, Kenya

The study abroad program in Kenya is affiliated with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Nairobi. University faculty and lecturers provide courses in history, literature, political science, religion, and sociology as selected by the Resident Director.

* Fees are for 2012/13; 2013/14 comprehensive fees will be announced in March 2013.

Undergraduate Studies in Dakar, Sénégal

The Sénégal study abroad program is associated with the Faculté des Sciences et Lettres Humaines at l´Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD). Program participants may study Wolof, the local language, Islam, Rural and Urban Development (1st semester), and/or Humanities (2nd semester).

Applications for Guest study abroad in 2013/14  will be available starting August 30th, 2012 via Hornet Passport (HPP), Kalamazoo College's online study abroad application system. To start an application, please click below:
