The 2013-14 Compost Intern will work to manage and develop the on-campus Grove Point Composting system in collaboration with one existing Compost Intern. This position is open to applicants with any level of experience, and underclassmen are encouraged to apply. While previous experience would be helpful, those who have minimal experience can learn through research and practice. Passion is necessary, however!

Your main tasks will be collecting, emptying, and returning the compost collection buckets located throughout campus and compost pile maintenance. The current locations of compost buckets include the eight Living Learning Houses, Biggby, and the Cavern. The Compost Intern will also be involved in educating the campus and creating other special projects.

The application and full job description can be accessed at: https://reason.kzoo.edu/green/campusinitiatives/food/compost/

Please submit all applications to Paul Manstrom and Rob Townsend by Monday of 6th week (May 6th). Contact current Compost Intern Alicia Pettys (K'13) with any questions.
