The Help Desk is located on the first floor of Upjohn Library Commons. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The Help Desk can be reached at 269-337-5800 or helpdesk@kzoo.edu.
Students
Each residence hall is staffed with a student Residential Computer Consultant to help students connect to the network and to answer basic computer questions. As time permits, RCCs can help with e-mail, software and printing.
The Help Desk can help students with:
- Passwords (changing/resetting, both KNET and ARO, via web form, phone, or walk-in with proper verification)
- Network Connections (wired and wireless troubleshooting)
- Virus and Spyware Protection (where/how to download and install, update definitions and scanning)
- Resnet Registration (where/how to register, troubleshooting)
For hardware issues, our responsibility is to college-owned equipment. There are liability issues with non-college-owned equipment.
For major software/hardware repairs, we can refer you to local computer repair businesses.
