Kaleidoscope

KSCOPE 2014

Welcome to Kaleidoscope!

Meetings are held every Monday at 5:00 p.m. in the Banquet Hall.

Kaleidoscope is Kalamazoo College's LGBTQA student organization on campus. We have weekly meetings, host events, and advocate for LGBTQ equality at K College, in the Kalamazoo area, and around the world. As the organization devoted to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender students identities at Kalamazoo College, Kaleidoscope recognizes its responsibilities as tri-fold: To provide a safe space where LGBT and questioning students-and their allies- can receive the support and community necessary for fruitful identity formation. To educate the college regarding the presence of its LGBT community through campus events, activities, and open dialogue. To engage in social and political outreach activities within the greater LGBT community, and within the human community as such. In its balance of these three tenants Kaleidoscope affirms its commitment to identifying homophobia and heterosexism, nurturing identities in transition, and encouraging self-expression for all members of the queer community.
