Music Department

Directed by Jim Turner and following in Kalamazoo College’s goal of providing a unique and comprehensive span of informative education, the College Singers perform a wide and diverse array of repertoire, performing at numerous locations.  The College Singers give a major performance each quarter.

Chamber Choir

Because of the various prerequisites for the Kalamazoo Chamber Choir – including enrollment in the College Singers and an audition – the members of this choir can be seen performing more advanced and challenging music, with emphasis on working together as an ensemble.  This ensemble seeks students who have participated in a choir prior to college, giving the ensemble a richer, more developed and beautiful sound.
