Union Desk Specialist

The Union Desk Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Union Desk operations as well as the general well-being of the Hicks Student Center.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Welcoming visitors (students, faculty, staff, and other guests) to the Hicks Student Center and Kalamazoo College
• Managing Game Room equipment (check out/in, ensuring that it is in good condition, etc.)
• Assisting building guests with room set-ups (AV  needs, locating additional furniture, etc.)
• Conducting hourly rounds which include checking the general well being of the facility as well as collecting data on room occupancies
• Keeping the building in good condition by disposing of trash, returning furniture to proper locations, and reporting building issues (leaks, damage, burnt out lights, etc.) in a timely manner
• Completing a Shift Report at the conclusion of each shift
• Other duties as assigned by the Office of Student Involvement of Division of Student Development

• Monday: 10 am- 12 am
• Tuesday: 10 am- 12 am
• Wednesday: 10 am- 12 am
• Thursday: 10 am- 12 am
• Friday: 10 am- 1 am
• Saturday: 10 am- 1 am
• Sunday: 10 am- 1 am
