Who We Are
The mission of the Office of Student Involvement is to provide opportunities for learning, personal growth, self exploration, and leadership development of students through participation in student organizations, student government, and related activities. Additionally, the Office of Student Involvement provides many fun and interesting experiences through various campus events, traditions, and activities in an effort to enhance the lived experience at K.
We strive to do the following in an effort to educate the whole person, realizing that integrating a person's knowledge, skills, passions, and abilities both inside and outside of the classroom provides a more balanced individual and a better citizen. We hope to accomplish this by:
- Providing an opportunity for creative expression, social interaction, and active participation in aspects of college life outside of the classroom.
- Understanding that student input, opinion, and action are essential components for the success of each student organization and every campus activity.
- Encouraging each student's involvement on campus, as this adds to the educational gains and personal development of students.
