The Theatre Arts Department of Kalamazoo College presents the 45th season of Festival Playhouse, “From International to Interplanetary: Places, Learning, and Memories.” Filling this year’s season are plays that range in scope from Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka’s most famous play “Death and the King’s Horseman” to the outrageous cult musical based loosely on Shakespeare “Return to the Forbidden Planet.” In addition, Festival Playhouse will also produce the third Student Playwriting Festival, readings and performances of original plays by Kalamazoo College students.
