The Cauldron

The Cauldron is Kalamazoo College's Literary and Visual Arts Journal. It is edited entirely by K College students and publishes exclusively student work.

Each year, The Cauldron three Divine Crow Awards. These are given to three excellent pieces from any of the three literary genres (Poetry, Fiction, and Non Fiction) as selected by that year's judge. The Cauldron also selects a recipient for the Stephanie Vibbert Award, which celebrates the intersection of creativity and civic engagement. The award was created to honor the passion of Stephanie Vibbert, an English/Psychology double major who died in her senior year at Kalamazoo College.

Di Seuss, Writer in Residence, is The Cauldron’s faculty advisor. The Cauldron is designed by the staff with the help of Lisa Darling, Director of Publications for the college’s Office of Communication.
