Major: Biology & Chemistry
Concentration: Biochemistry and molecular biology concentration
Career Aspiration: Will be applying to medical school after graduation in pursuit to become a MD. Would eventually like to use medical degree to provide medical relief in foreign and underdeveloped countries.

Interesting Fact: Going on third year playing for Kalamazoo College’s Women’s Soccer Team.

Career Aspiration: Whether through psychology, philosophy, religion, or sociology, Lia relishes evaluating shared networks of knowledge, assumptions, and practices that structure our society. Her education and experiences at K have inspired in her a lifelong mission of combating systematic social injustice. 

Interesting Fact: Lia can hula-hoop for a really long time.

Interesting Fact: My ideal day would be spent at any Malibu beach in Los Angeles with my best friends, a soccer ball, in-n-out and boba. 

Madi T.

Name: Madison E. Triplett

Major: Economics
Minor: Chinese
Career Aspiration: As an Economics major and Chinese minor, Madison enjoys learning about the way money circulates and the way countries interact with each other financially. She plans to become a Chief Financial Officer, and is also interested in pursuing a career within the global spectrum of finance, specifically China. Madison is passionate about filling the financial literacy education gap and plans to do so by developing a non-profit organization that will educate minorities on financial literacy.

Interesting Fact: Madison was crowned the 97th Rose Queen during her senior year of high school and will be featured in the Rose Parade again January 2nd 2017.


Name: Regina Shaw ‘19

Major: Political Science
Minor: Spanish
Career Aspiration: Regina is interested in corporate law as a career choice. She aims to provide professional advice to small business’ over their decision making process of setting up their companies. She wishes to use her political science major and spanish minor to help future clients understand the important methods of business and law.

Interesting Fact: Regina has been dancing since she was 2 years old. She also plans to study abroad in Costa Rica her junior year.
