About the Community Garden

General Garden Information

  • The Jolly Garden: Representing the Kalamazoo College Community, was first planted in the spring of 2010. 
  • It is located behind 1324 Academy St.
  • It is maintained by a community of Kalamazoo College students, faculty, staff members, and friends. 
  • The College offers gardening courses in the spring and fall through the Physical Education Department that is open to all students.

The Jolly Garden: Representing the Kalamazoo College Community is named in honor of Seema Jolly '07, the first instructor of the gardening course and a strong force behind the garden's success.
