Faculty Study

Each term, faculty members present a program on recent activities in their fields. As an outcome of writing the college's self-study for our previous NCA reaccreditation, Bob Stauffer presented a faculty study talk entitled, "Of History, Sagas, and the 'K Plan': In Quest of a Usable Past."

Faculty Teaching and Learning Events

Organized by the Teaching and Learning Committee, the faculty teach gatherings are held during the term. These offer an opportunity for faculty to gather and discuss topics of common interest related to teaching. The Fall Colloquium will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017.

Grant Assistance

Policies Related to Externally Funded Research

Policies for handling allegations of research misconduct, disclosing financial conflicts of interest (policy and form ), and training students in the responsible conduct of research.

Professional Update Form

An annual form requested by the Provost each spring for the academic year of faculty activities. Full-time faculty should submit their 2016-17 update and c.v. by August 1, 2017, as electronic files to Tabatha Coleman (

Faculty Rental Housing Information
The college owns some houses in the immediate neighborhood which are leased to incoming faculty on a first-come, first-serve basis, with preference given to new tenure-track faculty.
