Nathania Dallas, K'09, was a Civic Engagement Scholar with the Mary Jane Underwood Stryker Institute for Service-Learning, during her sophomore and senior years. During her sophomore year, she coordinated and facilitated structured reflection for service-learning programs. Her senior year, she developed and coordinated an after-school program at the Woodward School.


Federal Work Study On-Campus Employment Opportunities

Below are the Civic Engagement programs that offer paid opportunities for students who are eligible for Federal Work Study. To find out if you are eligible for federal work study or international student on-campus employment, please contact the Financial Aid Office:

Goodwill Adult Literacy Programs  

Service-Learning programs that offer students an opportunity to earn Federal Work Study (to find out if you are eligible for federal work study, please contact the Financial Aid Office).

Unpaid Opportunities

The Center for Civic Engagement offers an array of other co-curricular critical service-learning programs, and academic SL courses.  Many partnerships span both academic service-learning and co-curricular work in order to provide continuity and cohesiveness.

These opportunities may not necessarily be federal work study approved. Interested students, however, may work at these programs on a volunteer basis, space permitting.
